There are three types of members of FIFI. |
| Founder Members are a few eminent importers National & International repute by special resolution of the Executive Board. |
| Corporate members will be wherein a company becomes a member and is represented by one nominated person along with one alternate. In official meetings of the Association e.g. at Annual General Meetings and Governing Board Meetings, only these persons can cast votes. |
| Associate Member which can be availed of by individuals who are not connected with any company (e.g. consultants) as well as by Government agencies, Consulate, Press and research institutions etc. |
