The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) organized a trade mission to New Delhi, India, from April 22nd to 25th, 2024. This event provided a platform for U.S. agribusinesses to connect with potential importers from India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka through business-to-business meetings.
FIFI played a pivotal role in enhancing the overall experience for U.S. participants. The organization facilitated engagements with USDA leadership, hosted a reception at the U.S. Ambassador's residence, and arranged cultural performances featuring Bhangra dancers. Additionally, FIFI organized site visits to key retail outlets and food processing facilities in New Delhi and its surrounding areas, providing valuable insights into the Indian market.
To maximize networking opportunities, FIFI facilitated 578 B2B meetings, enabling U.S. businesses to establish strong connections with Indian counterparts. Through these efforts, FIFI significantly contributed to the success of the USDA trade mission, helping to strengthen trade ties between the two countries.
